Wichita, Kan. | Sept. 17, 2026 – Yingling Aviation continues adding experienced aviation leaders to its MRO team at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. The full-service business and general aviation MRO, parts, and FBO platform announces that Jerome Cottner has joined Yingling as Director of Sales.
Cottner brings more than two decades of aviation leadership to Yingling. He began his career in the United States Marine Corps, leading flight line avionics teams supporting CH-53D helicopters across two combat deployments.
Following his military service, Cottner has held key executive leadership roles across the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector, serving as President of Global Aviation Technologies in Wichita and President of Omni Aircraft Maintenance.
“That rare combination of military discipline, hands-on avionics expertise, and executive MRO experience gives Jerome a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver on customer commitments,” said Kerry Heiss, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Heiss joined the company in July, following the start of Gregg Fahrenbruch’s CEO tenure in March.
Cottner’s role will focus on expanding customer partnerships and aligning maintenance, avionics, and aircraft support solutions directly with the operational needs of aircraft owners and flight departments.
